This China was originally made by the Wallace Company in Los Angeles between 1943 and 1964.  Shenango China Company bought them out in 1965 and soon after dropped the Rodeo  line.  Wallace also made other western patterns: El Rancho, Boots & Saddles, Chuckwagon, Longhorn and others.  The Rodeo/Westward Ho was always the most popular pattern by Wallace.  Over the last seven years, the price of the old Rodeo pattern has steadily gone up in value to achieve collectible status.  The artist ' s name, Till Goodan who originally did the artwork for Wallace China, does not appear on our China.
